Banner Sizing

This article will give you guidelines on banner sizing for the Homepage, Chapter page and Event page.

Resolutions Breakdown

These are examples of how you'll see the images for the chapter/event banners in different screen resolutions. If there is important content on your image that you'd like to keep visible in mobile, the best way accomplish this is to center the content as shown in the second image.

Homepage banner

Image size: 2560px x 650px
File types can be: JPG or PNG

Visit our Homepage Sliders article to learn how to upload and edit Homepage Sliders from the Admin Dashboard. We recommend images without text, as we had dynamic text components available in the Homepage settings to improve readability across resolutions. We also recommend content to be centered wherever possible to improve resolution compatibility as described above.

Event banner

Image size: 2560px x 650px
File types can be: JPG or PNG

Select Upload Image and adjust the picture as needed.
Event banners have dynamic content that may vary by event: Event title, Group/Chapter name, Date and Time, social media links and other optional features (event address and number of members attending).

The content is aligned to the left by default, so we recommend using a plain image as a background. Keep in mind that content may overlap elements on it.
On mobile the image is cropped, but the dynamic content (event info and social shareable icons) will always be visible.

Chapter banner

Image size: 2560px x 650px
File types can be: JPG or PNG

Select the Settings tab on your chapter page, navigate to the Content section, upload banner image and adjust as needed.

This should be a single banner image that will apply as the default for all groups. A custom image can always be uploaded to override the default.

Just like the event banner, this section has dynamic content that may vary: Chapter name, Country (if applicable), number of group/chapter members (if applicable), and social media icons.

The content is aligned to the left by default, so we recommend using a plain image as a background. Keep in mind that content may overlap elements on it.
On mobile the image is cropped, but the dynamic content (chapter info and social shareable icons) will be always visible.
