Adding and editing homepage and marketing sliders

This article will outline steps to add slider images on the homepage as well as marketing sliders throughout your community pages.

Homepage Sliders

  1. Select Homepage from the left sidebar in Admin Dashboard
  2. The first tab, Sliders, will determine the banner that appears on your community landing page
  3. Click New Slider to create a new banner
  4. Fill in the respective fields and upload an image
  5. Click Save Carousel and Publish in the confirmation modal
  6. Click on an existing slider to edit it
  7. Make the changes you want and click Save Carousel and Publish in the confirmation modal

Marketing Sliders

  1. Select Homepage from the left sidebar in Admin Dashboard
  2. The second tab, Marketing, contains the Marketing Sliders you have created
  3. Click on New Promo
  4. Complete the Title, URL (if desired), and Location
    1. Above Dashboard: the slider will appear above the Dashboard for Chapter Leaders and Admin users. Supports text only.
    2. Above homepage carousel: the slider will appear above the homepage slider carousel. Supports text only.
    3. Emails Top: the slider will append to emails and newsletters sent out from all your chapters. Supports text only. 
    4. Emails Bottom: the slider will append to emails and newsletters sent out from all your chapters. Supports a JPG or PNG image of 1200x520 px.
    5. Sidebar: the slider will appear in a homepage component that must be enabled separately. Supports a desktop JPG or PNG image of 640x640 px and a mobile JPG or PNG image of 640x360 px.
  5. Click Save Promo
